I grew up in a large family in Tacoma, WA.  My passion for art started at an early age. I spent long hours honing my drawing skills with pencil and paper before progressing to painting. As my work developed, I was drawn to creating large, dynamic canvases. I developed my own personal technique which involves the use of layered colors and thick textures to intensify and energize the work.
